TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Web Moguls?
Web Moguls is a digital marketing program run by a guy named Ryan Dalton.
He trains students on how to build websites, rank them on Google’s search page, and then sell the leads they generate to local businesses.
I gotta say, I do like the way his website is transparent and communicates efficiently. My big problem with Dalton is just how inexperienced he is within this industry, and that means it’s even more important to cut to the chase and be honest with people.
Sometimes, brand-new digital marketers just have a one-page site with no information on it at all!
That just seems sketchy, so I respect Ryan Dalton for putting in the effort to boost his presence immediately.
There’s clearly some hit truth to his claims of knowing something about rank and rent because he’s got a bunch of different website domain names that take up the first search results for “Web Moguls”!
So, what’s my verdict on this guy?
Well, it’s tough to say.
Since his course is so new, there really aren’t a lot of student reviews out there. In fact, I can’t find any that aren’t on his website.
That said, sounds like you’ll get a free course that covers the basics, and then you’ll have to pay up if you want to have some better coaching and deeper insights on how you can maximize your business profits.
As I’ve said, he certainly picked the right business model.
Lead generation is elite, and it’s the best way of making money online that I can tell.
…but you need to make sure that you have an experienced mentor.
How can a guy who just learned about digital marketing suddenly become an expert overnight?
I think you should go with something more secure, with the same amount of upside and even better mentorship.

Web Moguls focuses on the rank and rent business model, which is intertwined with the local lead generation that I love.
You basically pick a niche, build a website, rank that website with keywords on Google, generate leads, and then sell and rent the website out to local businesses within that niche.
Sounds simple right?
Well, it kind of is.
But I recommend you get a more seasoned mentor to teach you the way. Going in with a rookie coach just seems like an unnecessary risk when there are great alternatives out there!
Think about it, you probably wanna provide some good money for your family, but you also wanna make sure you’re spending time with them more often, right?
Life is short, so you wanna make sure you’re not wasting it on things that don’t matter. A strong start in the local lead generation game can get you where you need to be!
Who Is Ryan Dalton?
Ryan Daltondiscovered the world of digital marketing very recently, in 2022.
In fact, Web Moguls was only founded in 2023!
Before then, Ryan worked for the United States government as a special agent, which sounds pretty cool, but he claims he wanted to spend more time with his family and gain some financial freedom in Memphis, Tennessee.
He looked for the best business model out there and realized lead generation was just that.
Can’t argue with him there!
How Much Does Web Moguls Cost?
The Web Moguls cost is mostly hidden, but after some digging, I have found some price points:
- $4,000 for the big course
- $149-$297 depending on how extensive you wanna go with his rank and rent tools
Personal Opinion On Web Moguls
So…how do we find the right course for you?
- Ensure the guru has lots of experience
- Think about how secure the industry really is
- Read the fine print on refund policies, if they exist
This course has a great premise, but I do see a few red flags.
To be fair, here are 3 things I like about Dalton’s program:
- Dalton is very transparent about how the business model works
- Free course if you just want the basics
- The Facebook group seems active
…and, in all fairness, here are 3 things I don’t really like:
- Seems to lack SEO training
- The course is basically brand new and may have holes
- Price is not transparent
I’ve also covered the Castor Abbott course, a program that claims to revolutionize client acquisition for financial advisors with its Trust Stacking system, though the high cost and lack of a refund policy are significant drawbacks.
In addition, I reviewed the One Funnel Away Challenge, a great entry-level course on funnel strategies by Russell Brunson, though it’s primarily geared toward beginners and includes some upsells.

“Web Moguls scam” shows up a lot when you look up Dalton’s course.
…but does that mean he’s running a scam?
I doubt it.
If the guy could pass criminal background checks to work for the US government, then he can’t be the worst kind of scammer…although I suppose that depends on how much you trust the government!
Listen, a scam is when someone’s just straight-up ripping you off.
I don’t think Dalton is doing that here, especially since he’s picked out a pretty foolproof business model.
The big knock on him is his serious lack of experience, and when there are so many mature mentors out there, I think you should keep your options open moving forward.
Personally, I gotta keep recommending Digital Leasing.

So, should you dive all in with Ryan Dalton?
I wouldn’t.
While he has nailed the business model, you’re just taking an unnecessary risk by being the guinea pig in his very young program.
I always think a guru should have some serious experience, especially if you’re paying them big bucks!
On the other hand, Digital Leasing has coaches who have been in the game for many years and seem like the guys who can take you to the next level.
