Passive Prospecting Review (2024): Is YouTube Prospecting The Best Online Hustle?

Passive Prospecting Review

Hello, and welcome to my Passive Prospecting review.

This company exists to help realtors to gain more leads passively through YouTube.

If you’re in the real estate industry, you’re probably curious to learn whether this strategy is the real deal.

The company’s founders Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb charge a fair amount to teach it to you, so it’s probably smart to find an unbiased review before stumping up the cash.

I’ve done some digging to find out what resources Passive Prospecting has to offer and what you can expect from them.

In this review, I’ll answer the following questions.

  1. What will you learn from Passive Prospecting training?
  2. Who are Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb and why are they qualified to teach you?
  3. How much does Passive Prospecting cost?
  4. Is there a reason to worry about a Passive Prospecting scam?

I’ve got a lot to share about this company, so let’s dive straight into the review.

Passive Prospecting is a company that teaches real estate agents how to generate leads through YouTube. There are many types of training available at different price points.

  • This Passive Prospecting strategy is not as passive as you might hope. You'll still have to put a lot of work into creating content.

TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Passive Prospecting?

Passive Prospecting Review TLDR

Passive Prospecting presents an interesting alternative strategy for realtors to gain leads using YouTube.

If you’re a real estate agent who’s struggling to attract leads to their business, you might think their strategy is worth a try.

However, it’s not as passive as you might hope.

You’ll still need to put a lot of time and effort into making high-quality video content.

If you want your YouTube videos to rank well in search results and be recommended by the algorithm, they’ll need a click-through rate and average watch time percentage.

You’re not going to achieve that unless your thumbnails and videos are entertaining and well-edited.

The Passive Prospecting coaches do a good job of teaching you how to make videos that attract quality leads. Just don’t expect this course to create a life where you do nothing and money flies into your bank account.

If you’re looking for a truly passive income opportunity, I’d recommend you check out The Digital Rental Method.

Here, you’ll learn how to make lead-generating digital assets that you rent out to local business owners.

They can typically be rented out for $500 – $2,000 per month depending on the niche.

It’ll take a few weeks to learn how to make your first asset, then it’s a simple copy-paste process to create more.

And once you’ve found a willing renter, there’s rarely any customer service or maintenance needed.

You can watch this short video to learn more about how it works.

Business Model: Passive Prospecting

Passive prospecting means to find potential clients without actively going and looking for them.

This is common in many industries. A lot of coaches or service providers will make YouTube videos or social media content to demonstrate their expertise then invite viewers to reach out to them.

This hasn’t traditionally been a common marketing strategy in the real estate industry. Many realtors find themselves chasing clients through cold calling, paid advertising or attending networking events. These traditional methods fall under the umbrella of ‘active prospecting’.

However, Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb believe that the traditional prospecting methods are outdated tactics.

They say that the passive prospecting methods taught within their courses will help real estate agents secure more leads with less effort.

Most of their training teaches realtors how to make YouTube videos that rank well in search results and reach people looking for specific real estate deals.

This is a strategy that requires a lot of effort to implement but could potentially bring fantastic results in the long run.

Who is Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb?

Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb

Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb were both realtors in Texas when they teamed up to create a real estate YouTube channel.

Levi had already experimented with this form of passive prospecting, but the channel exploded in popularity once Travis was onboard.

It’s currently the most viewed YouTube channel in Dallas, Texas and supposedly generates 3-5 inbound leads per day. This is without spending money on ads.

Following the growth of this successful marketing strategy built on YouTube, the pair launched Passive Prospecting to help other realtors generate leads more passively.

Passive Prospecting Review: My Personal Opinion

Passive Prospecting Review: My Personal Opinion

Although I’m not too familiar with the ins and outs of real estate prospecting, these courses offer a lot of fresh ideas.

Passive Prospecting has plenty of testimonials from happy customers on its YouTube channel, so it would appear as if the strategies are effective.

If you’re a realtor who is struggling with prospecting, you could do a lot worse than give this strategy a try.

Should You Worry About A Passive Prospecting Scam?

There’s no sign of a scam here.

When you sign up for one of these courses, you’re delivered everything that’s advertised.

However, the strategies taught might not be as ‘passive’ as you were hoping.

It requires a lot of hard work to create a successful YouTube channel in any niche.

You’ll need to learn the following skills:

  1. Filming
  2. Talking to the camera
  3. Engaging video editing
  4. Thumbnail design
  5. YouTube SEO

Passive Prospecting will help you gain all these skills. But, even then, it’ll take a while before your YouTube channel is popular enough to drive a stampede of leads towards your real estate business.

If you’re hunting for an online business model that provides truly passive income, I’d much rather recommend The Digital Rental Method.

There are some new skills to learn to create digital assets for local business owners. But, once you’ve made your first asset, the hard work is pretty much over.

From there, it’s as simple as cloning your assets and finding another business owner who wants to be overwhelmed with fresh leads.

Within a few months, you could have a small army of digital assets earning you monthly paychecks between $500 – $2,000.

You can run this business from anywhere in the world.

I know some people who are traveling the globe with the money earned by their digital assets. Perhaps you’d prefer to stay in your home town and spend quality time with your spouse and children.

Either way, The Digital Rental Method provides the business model to completely separate your income from your time and location. This short video explains more about how it works.

What’s The Conclusion?

Thanks for reading my review.

Real estate professionals could learn a lot from this course, especially if they’re struggling to generate leads with traditional strategies.

With that said, I wouldn’t recommend this as the best overall online business model for generating passive income.

I also reviewed Robert Benjamin’s course, which offers solid training on YouTube shorts. However, some users reported slow responses to questions despite having a support community.

Additionally, I reviewed AdOutreach by Aleric Heck. While it aims to boost your YouTube ads game, many users faced high costs, low returns, unresponsive support, and outdated materials.

Recommendation

After exploring various business models, I recommend The Digital Rental Method for beginners entering the online business world.

  1. Flexibility: The Digital Rental Method can generate money even if you only have a few hours per week to spare. Picture making more dough without the relentless grind that the YouTube journey demands.
  2. You’re the Boss: The Digital Rental Method business makes you the landlord of your digital estate. You call the shots and can pocket 90-95% of the profits. Forget about squeezing into the rigid rules of the YouTube Partner program.
  3. Minimal Overheads: There are barely any upkeep costs associated with running your digital assets, meaning there’s little financial risk associated with launching your business today.
  4. Rinse and Repeat: Once you’ve got your first digital asset up and running, you can clone that success with just a few clicks. It’s a breeze to scale up your income, unlike on YouTube where growing your audience often requires years of uploading high-quality videos.
  5. Make a Real Impact: With The Digital Rental Method, you have the chance to genuinely help local businesses and see the tangible effects of your work. It’s not just playing the numbers game; it’s about helping other people make the best financial decisions, something that real estate agents don’t always have the best reputation for doing.
