TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Local Service Mastery?
Local Service Mastery is a new program headed up by coach Lior Vaknin, and he seems to believe that this could be the key to unlocking all kinds of digital marketing success for his students.
He promises to help you build your own lead generation operation and says that these same skills made him rich in the first place.
It’s nice for him to share that knowledge, if true.
I will say that it seems a lot of digital marketing operations will teach you Google ads or SEO, but not both. Viknan seems to check the box on that one, as he offers both to his clients. He even offers Skype calls, which may be nostalgic for those of you who remember 2010.
One of my concerns with this program isn’t really what Vaknin claims to offer; it’s that he’s only been in the game for a couple of years. Before that, he seems to have been a world traveler, and he just stumbled upon digital marketing pretty recently.
As I mentioned earlier, he also specializes in garage door repairs, so this isn’t a guy who’s been in the marketing world his whole life. It’s not even clear if he has a degree in business. I don’t think that’s necessary, but it’s good for prospective students.
I think he’s on the right track with this whole lead generation business, but at the end of the day, the mentor you decide to go with could make or break your career… and that means a lot of time and money.
Not great, but on the other hand…

Sometimes you find a great program, but then all the coaches are awful. Other times, you find a really engaging mentor…but then it turns out there’s really no way to make money with their business model.
It can be tricky out there!
But Lior Vaknin’s program might be for you if…
- You don’t mind a rookie coach.
- You found your niche and need a nice push.
- You are into digital marketing.
On the other hand, it probably doesn’t make sense to join up if…
- Experience is a big factor in your mentor search.
- You’re not sure if you can get into something without a refund policy.

Local Service Mastery At A 1,000 FT View
Building your own lead generation business is one of the most rewarding things you can do as an online entrepreneur.
In fact, it’s something that anyone could jump into, even if they are experienced in another field. The fact of the matter is this is the direction that marketing is heading into when it comes to sales in our modern times.
People used to buy radio ads, TV ads, and other types of advertising.
Not anymore.
While these methods still have a place within marketing strategies, local business owners are trying to make the most of their money, which is even harder in today’s tough economic environment. Well, this is where you can really make a killing.
All you gotta do is reach out to these people who are desperate for a way to grow their business, and present to them these ways to generate leads online, where you can get the most eyeballs on their product or service.
One way to get started is with Google ads, which cost you a little money to run these campaigns in the short term, but can really give a nice boost, especially when a company is on the newer side.
However, eventually you’ll want to delve into the world of search engine optimization (SEO), which doesn’t cost you a dime, but it can take longer to see results. The nice thing about this is that the results are often more sustainable in the long term as well.
When you do this stuff the right way, there’s really no stopping the digital marketer, or the business.
But the point is that you need a mentor to teach you the right ways of doing things.
This is my concern with LSM: while their program is kind of an unknown, they do appear to at least say the right things. But I just don’t know how much wisdom a guy who’s only been doing this for a couple years can really offer you! Seems risky to me.
Think about it, you probably wanna provide some good money for your family, but you also wanna make sure you’re spending time with them more often, right?
Life is short, so you wanna make sure you’re not wasting it on things that don’t matter. A strong start in the local lead generation game can get you where you need to be!
Who Is Lior Vaknin?
Lior Vaknin is a digital marketing guru who started in San Diego as a 24/7 garage door repairman.
I know, it’s a little unconventional when compared to a lot of these coaches’ backstories.
These days, Vaknin operates out of New York City, and focuses on making his local service mastery program into one of the best offerings out there.
Vaknin used to travel the world and post his adventures on YouTube, long before he ever even thought about the lead generation business model.
How Much Does Local Service Mastery Cost?
Lior threw down a post on Fiverr where he gives the following price points for jobs he can do:
- $75
- $250
- $900
However, it seems that the Local Service Mastery cost will be more in the $5,000 range, hopefully featuring some more close coaching.
Personal Opinion On Local Service Mastery
So…how do we find the right course for you?
- See if the guru’s energy matches your vibe
- Think about doing this for a long time
- Consider the levels of saturation
This course has a great premise, but I do see a few red flags.
To be fair, here’s 3 things I like about Lior’s LSM program:
- Digital marketing is a great field
- Lior may have some youthful energy
- SEO and Google Ads are critical to success
…and, in all fairness, here are 3 things I don’t really like:
- Very new course and guru
- Lacking refunds
- Not much transparency

“Local Service Mastery scam” shows up a lot when you look up Lior Viknan’s course.
…but does that mean he’s running a scam?
I don’t really know about that.
Honestly, I really don’t know! There’s not a ton of information on this guy or his program, so it’s hard for me to make a fully confident declaration that this guy is running a scam.
And remember, a scam is actually when someone promises one thing and then doesn’t deliver at all when it comes to the actual good or service. Something isn’t a scam just because it’s not what you were expecting.
I would expect that you would get some kind of digital marketing education if you decide to go with local service mastery, but I do have my doubts about the level of mentorship you’ll receive.
And just because something isn’t technically a scam, doesn’t mean it’s the right program for you.
Personally, I gotta keep recommending Digital Leasing.
Who knows? Maybe a few of your clients even tell a few of their friends and your empire grows even bigger.

So, should you dive all-in with Lior Vaknin?
Probably not.
Here’s the thing: if you’ve been into digital marketing for a while, you probably already have more experience than Vaknin.
And if you’re just starting out, you have the luxury of choosing any mentor out there within this fine business model… so why would you select someone who is so new to the game? I think he should probably lower his prices to make that an attractive selling point.
All in all, there’s just too much gambling for my taste.
Not my idea of a fun time!
On the flip side, Digital Leasing is “evergreen,” meaning it works no matter what’s going on in the economy, because it’s got something that businesses will always demand no matter what:
Customers.
Who knows, maybe you’ll even work from the beach one day…
