Growth Cave Review

Lucas Lee Tyson has become a bit of a star with his courses. So if anyone can teach you how to make a course of your own, surely it’s him.

At least… I think that’s what Lucas is selling right now. He doesn’t have any premium courses advertised on his site, but the free video is all about selling your knowledge.

So…

  • What exactly is going on here?
  • How much is it going to cost you?
  • And is Growth Cave legit…?

Let’s get to the bottom of all of this with my Growth Cave reviews roundup…

The free training isn't too insightful, but you should pick up some good information from the premium content. When you sign up, you'll get regular email support, as well as two live calls, and there is also a Facebook group and a mastermind community, so you can learn with your fellow students.

Pros

  • Lucas has certainly done well from selling his own knowledge.
  • There is a 60-day money back guarantee.
  • The reviews are mostly good.

Cons

  • It's not immediately clear what Lucas is selling these days.
  • Not everyone can make it in the knowledge business.
  • There are a few bad reviews too.

TLDR – Will Growth Cave’s Coaching Program Help You Make Money From Your Knowledge?

TLDR What’s The Verdict On Growth Cave

Lucas Lee Tyson has made his name through a bunch of different digital marketing programs and courses. This includes things like paid advertising, building an ad agency, and generating leads and customers for your online business.

He’s still drawing on this digital advertising expertise, but these days it seems Lucas is focusing on the knowledge business. In other words, he’s helping you to create your own course and sell your expertise to potential clients.

This is a pretty good market to get into. The global e-learning marketing is projected to hit $400 billion by 2026, so it seems like a good time to try to get your hands on a piece of that lucrative pie.

And Lucas seems like a good guy to teach you about this. With the Lucas Lee Tyson Growth Cave course set, he’s made a ton of money for himself, stacking the bills in his bank account by sharing his digital marketing expertise with the world.

But Is This Really The Right Path?

Lucas Lee Tyson

I do have my reservations about the business model though. Yes, there’s a lot of growth here, but that growth isn’t going to be universal across the board.

You’re going to need to find a niche people will actually pay good money for. You might have great tips to share about your passion for origami or how to beat your buddies on Madden NFL, but these are not going to be big money courses.

Instead, you’ll need to be selling something that’s going to make money for your students. One of the examples Lucas gives is a course in working with virtual assistants.

But there are problems here too…

A) You need to actually know your subject matter inside out… otherwise you don’t have enough knowledge to sell.

B) You need to market your course better than the million-and-one other people who are selling the same thing.

Sure, Lucas can help you with this last point. But you’ve still got your work cut out to make it work.

Is There A Better Alternative?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I like what Lucas is doing here. He’s knows how to put a solid program together, and he can teach you how to provide the same service to your own audience.

I just think the competitiveness of the market, and the difficulty in finding a unique niche you can actually teach, make success difficult in this model.

I much prefer a business model you can make your own… something like local lead generation…

The local lead generation business model is exactly what it sounds like. You’re delivering leads to local businesses, to help them grow.

Your leads could be worth as much as $10k a month for your partner’s company. So this partner is going to be only too happy to give you around $2k in income, each and every month.

What’s more, once your first digital rental property is up and running, the model shifts to semi-passive income. It only takes a few minutes and few clicks a day to run your business, so you’re free to live life your way.

And you’ll be safe in the knowledge that you’re getting solid, reliable income, and you’re making a difference in your local community.

So how do you get into this business? I’d say Digital Leasing is the best bet…

Level of Control2.8 out of 5 starsAs long as you’re using other people’s platforms and solutions, you won’t have total control. That said, Lucas does help you carve out your own niche, so there’s a bit of stability.
Ease of Implementation2.8 out of 5 starsLucas explains things quite clearly, and he’s a good teacher. It might not be that hard to put his methods into practice, although making them profitable might be more difficult.
Profit Potential2.9 out of 5 starsLucas is certainly right about the online coaching and education market. It’s big. There might be some profits to be made here, although it all depends on your own expertise level, and finding a good niche.

Lucas Lee Tyson’s Growth Cave: Your 1,000 FT View

1000 FT View Of Growth Cave

This is where we get to know a bit more about the course, the business model, and the man behind the program…

Business Model: The Knowledge Business

Lucas has worked in a bunch of different digital marketing business models, including running a social media marketing agency and achieving success with Facebook and Youtube ads.

Right now, though, he’s in the knowledge business. This is what the training program he’s currently offering on the Growth Cave site is all about.

So, you’ll be creating a course so that other students can learn from you. You’ll basically be making money online by selling your expertise.

This is a big business model right now…

  1. It’s expected that the e-learning industry will break the $400 billion mark, globally, by 2026.
  2. The industry has grown by 900% since the turn of the millenium.
  3. 20 million new students signed up for the course platform Counsera in 2021.

However, I’d still recommend you tread carefully. There is money to be made, but the path to that money is not always so straightforward.

  1. Students are only going to pay a lot of money for stuff that’s making them money too… and most people don’t have this knowledge.
  2. The market is growing increasingly competitive, with tons of new courses released on an almost daily basis.
  3. You really need to work hard to stand out from the crowd. It’s certainly not passive income.

Who Is Lucas Lee Tyson?

Lucas Lee Tyson

Lucas Lee Tyson started Growth Cave back in his Babson College dorm, when he only had a few dozen bucks to his name, and a massive credit card debt hanging over him.

However, it didn’t take long for this to change. He was only 20 when he started working for a digital advertising firm. He got into high ticket closing too, and made a respectable… if unspectacular… income here.

Running his own digital marketing agency and selling his knowledge online has been the real cash cow for Lucas though. Programs like Productized Profits and the Knowledge Business Accelerator really put him on the map.

How Much Does Growth Cave Cost?

I wouldn’t be able to do a complete go.growthcave.com review without looking at the cost of the program. So how much are we looking at?

  1. Right now, the only thing available on the Growth Cave site is the free course… and that’s free of course.
  2. In the past, you’ve been able to sign up for Growth Cave for $1,497. That’s buying you lifetime access.
  3. On the other hand, you can go for the three payment option at $597 each. This works out at about 300 bucks more.

This is backed up with a 60-day money back guarantee. But… there are some conditions here.

  1. You need to have checked out the first six modules… basically, you need to give it a good go.
  2. You need to have attended at least two of the live calls.
  3. You need to use the lead generation ads for at least one business idea, and let the Growth Cave team run it with you.

That’s quite a few hoops to jump through, but at least the guarantee is there.

The Go.Growthcave.com Review – Is Growth Cave Legit?

I’m sure this is the question on everyone’s lips. With news of potential scams popping up basically every day, is Growth Cave legit?

I’d say on balance, I don’t think there’s a scam. The Growth Cave Trustpilot score is pretty solid, and it seems most students are responding well to this.

I can’t ignore the fact that Lucas has had some negative reviews in the past. A few of these reviews have accused Lucas of being a scammer. This might be a bit unfair on the guy, but it’s still a heavy accusation.

A bad review for Growth Cave

For me personally, I take these reviews with a pinch of salt. He’s got a load of great reviews too, so I’d say he’s making more customers happy than not.

Growth Cave Trustpilot reviews

But those several reviews do provide a bit of food for thought. I also can’t see many examples of Lucas or his team actually responding to the negative feedback. This always feels like a bit of a missed opportunity to turn a bad review into an example of great customer service.

So, my honest Growth Cave review is that it is legit, and there is no scam going on here. Just bear in mind that success in this business model comes down to your own expertise, the level of competition in your niche, and your ability to market what you’re offering.

My Personal Opinion On the Lucas Lee Tyson Growth Cave Course

my opinion

Growth Cave has offered a lot of different things to its students in the past. Courses like the Knowledge Business Accelerator program and Productized Profits have made a lot of money for Lucas in the past, and some students have probably done fairly well out of them too.

Right now, however, doing research on Growth Cave is a bit harder. It seems Lucas has changed things up a bit, and he’s not advertising those courses at the moment.

So I can only really give you my personal opinion on what’s currently available…

There’s not that much going on in the free course currently listed on Lucas’s site, to be honest. He gives you a nice overview of the knowledge business model, and (as he freely admits) he shows off a bit about how well he’s done with this.

You do get some good resources afterwards. But it all feels like part of a funnel to get you to part with your money. There’s nothing really wrong with this… Lucas is a digital marketer, and he’s doing a smart bit of digital marketing.

I just wish he’d cut to the chase…

What’s Actually Going On Here?

I guess from the whole introductory spiel, that’s going to be selling your knowledge online. This is a legit business model, and it makes total sense for Lucas to teach it, seeing as he’s done so well out of it himself.

My one concern here is that this can’t be right for everyone. That’s just not how the knowledge business works. We all want knowledge, and we’re all willing to pay for knowledge… if you’ve ever bought a book, you’ve paid for knowledge.

But we’re only going to invest good money in something that makes us money back. That means high ticket closing techniques, sales performance hacks, business management tips. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have that knowledge… so if we sign up, we’re not going to hit the heights we expect.

I much prefer something that’s a bit more universal… like Digital Leasing.

At the core of the Digital Leasing model is value. You’re bringing in awesome leads for your local business partners, and these leads are worth a ton of money… so you get paid good money in return.

You’re not trying to market something you don’t know the worth of. You’re not trying to work out how much you can charge for a crash course in mushroom gardening… because if your leads are giving your partners 20 extra conversions a week, that’s got a solid monetary value.

It’s also a heck of a lot closer to passive income than setting up your own course and becoming an online guru. That course is going to need updating and refreshing. Those students are going to need coaching. That marketing is going to need a tweak too, if you’re going to get ahead of the pack.

All this costs time, effort, and money.

The thing about Digital Leasing is that your digital rental properties are super easy to run once you’ve got them set up. Once everything is up and running, you’ll be able to operate a profitable business with just a few minutes of your time each day.

What’s Inside Growth Cave?

To really get to know a course or a program, you’ve got to take a look inside.

Right now, when you step behind the curtain of Growth Cave, you’ll probably think… is this it? There’s not much going on here right now.

It could be that Lucas and the Growth Cave team have scaled back their approach in recent years.

Lucas Lee Tyson’s Free Training

Lucas Lee Tyson's Free Training

When I check this out in May 2024, this was the only active program I could find. Here’s what you get…

  • An Introduction To The Knowledge Business

To begin with, Lucas gives you an overview of the knowledge business. He talks about how the pandemic revolutionized the online course and education market, making it possible for experts and gurus to make more money online through their programs.

This intro is a bit light on practical, actionable info. But it does give you the lowdown on what Growth Cave offers, and Lucas does seem like a guy who knows what he’s talking about.

  • Lucas’s Own Case Study

The next part of the free training is a case study on what Lucas was able to achieve with his own courses. He freely admits this is a bit “bragadocious”… and he’s right. He’s showing off here, but I suppose I might show off too if I’d achieve those kinds of numbers.

I suppose it’s supposed to be inspiring. Maybe it is. But by now I’m itching for a bit of real insight.

  • Putting Your Knowledge Online

Next, we’re learning about how you can put your knowledge online. There are lots of platforms and websites you can use to build your course.

Lucas gives you a little run-through of how this is done. But, to be honest, these platforms have support and guidance features that can do this for you.

  • Monetizing Your Knowledge

Here, Lucas talks about what you can do to promote and sell the productized versions of your knowledge. Essentially, he’s teaching you to run a successful digital marketing agency for your own courses and programs.

But, this is just a free training. You’re not learning that much here.

  • Copy And Paste YouTube Funnel

After the training, you’ll receive a copy and paste YouTube Ads and promo funnel, right into your email inbox. This is the funnel that Lucas has used himself.

I’d say this is the best part of the free training up to now.

  • The Free Roadmapping Session

With the training completed, you can sign up for a free roadmapping session. You’ll gain direct digital marketing training and business planning coaching from someone in Lucas’s team.

This might be the springboard that Lucas uses to sell you one of his premium courses.

The Productized Profits Program

The Productized Profits Program

There’s no direct link to the Productized Profits program currently listed on the Growth Cave site. However, the free training feels like it is part of a sales funnel, so it may still be offered to you further down the line.

Here’s what’s inside…

The ModuleWhat’s It All About?
Module #1 – Fundamentals And FoundationsThe first module is basically a quick crash course in how to productize your offerings and then make money from them.

There’s a lot about mentality in this first part of the course, and getting your psychology right so you can really make your business a success. To illustrate this, he offers some case studies and examples.
Module #2 – Carving Out Your Niche And Irresistible OffersThere’s more practical information in the next module, as Lucas helps you to find your specialized niche and area of expertise.

The idea is to create offers your audience can’t refuse. You need to identify the skillsets and knowledge they are looking for, while seeking out gaps in the market you can fill.
Module #3 – Your Automated Client Attraction MachineIn the third module, you’re learning how to ease the stress and strain of bringing in clients with automation. You’ll discover how to use software solutions like ClientBolt to achieve this.

There are non-automated solutions too. Good ol’ fashioned strategy calls, as well as email and social media marketing, are also covered here.
Module #4 – The Science Of Sales And Client ConversionLucas goes one step further on the sales and acquisition front, helping you with deal closing and client relationship building.

For Lucas, this is a science. And so he breaks down what he believes are tried and tested techniques for attracting and keeping customers.
Module #5 – Copy/Paste Lead Generation AdvertisingIn the fifth module, you’re discover more about how you can make life easier as you generate leads. You can use made-for-you templates to eliminate much of the pain of lead generation.

You’ll also find out how to maximize your usage of tools like Loom, Google Sheets, and Zapier. The aim is to give your clients more, without burning yourself out in the process.
Module #6 – Running Wildly Profitable Digital Ad CampaignsSocial media marketing and advertising are big parts of module six. He focuses on using Facebook Pixel and Facebook Ads manager in the right way, and hacking the Facebook algorithm.

I’d say this is all pretty valuable, as social media ads are important as you grow your business. And most people get them wrong.
Module #7 – Automation, Systems, And ScalingThere’s more automation to be found in the final module. However, a lot of it is not real automation, but instead it’s outsourcing through third party freelancers.

Lucas says this can help you scale up your business by reducing your workload.
Bonus MaterialsYou’ll also gain access to a bunch of different bonuses when you sign up for the course…

• The ClientBolt client acquisition software solution.
• Community membership with like-minded students.
• Direct support via email, as well as two direct live calls.
• A range of different done-for-you templates.

My Growth Cave Reviews Roundup: What’s The Conclusion?

Let’s bring this reviews roundup to a close!

From what I can tell, Lucas is currently in the knowledge business… and he can certainly help people with marketable information sell great skills to their audience.

But it’s just not going to work for everyone. Most people don’t have the kind of knowledge customers are going to pay top dollar for.

So you might want to give this one a try, but…

I’d recommend you stay right where you are, and check out my #1 pick for making money this year!

I’ve covered FB Income School 2.0 course, where Lester’s approach to making money from Facebook lacks sustainability and mentorship. Despite a private Facebook group, doubts linger about his expertise in Facebook marketing.

Also, explore my Lucas Lee Tyson’s Productized Profits review. This course focusing on lead generation and digital marketing agency building. While offering solid training and community support, it lacks clear client acquisition strategies and has strict refund policies.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

My top recommendation for making money online.

Throughout my years of trying, testing, and reviewing a ton of business models – I’ve had some wins and losses.

I’ve made money with Amazon FBA, dropshipping, affiliate marketing, and a bunch of others.

But nothing was sustainable, simple, and passive.

That is, until I discovered Digital Leasing.

Digital Leasing involves creating lead generating assets like websites, driving traffic to them, and then leasing the space out to local businesses that need leads.

Think plumbers, electricians, chiropractors, etc.

Here’s why it’s a great business model:

  1. Genuine Passive Income: Once your digital assets are established and leased to businesses, the income flows in automatically without the need for constant traffic generation or platform dependence. Your assets continue to provide value to your clients while generating revenue for you.

Running your own course with Lucas isn’t going to be very passive. You’ll need to keep updating that course, coaching your students… and doing a load of other stuff to keep your business moving.

  1. Reduced Ongoing Effort: Digital Leasing allows for a hands-off approach once your assets are in place. You can enjoy a more balanced lifestyle while still earning a substantial income.

Selling your knowledge is not like this… it’s hard. Unless you’re one of the lucky few with direct experience as a marketing expert or something similar, you’re going to be struggling to stay at the forefront of your niche.

  1. Effortless Scalability: Expanding your Digital Leasing business is as simple as replicating your successful assets and connecting them to new payment systems. This process can be completed in a matter of minutes, allowing you to grow your income without requiring you to do more work in return for more money.

Lucas has certainly managed to scale his own courses, but it’s not that easy for most people. Making a new course means going back to the drawing board, and pouring a load more time and effort into the creation process.

I’d say Digital Leasing wins hands down.
