TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Channel Profits?
The profit potential of YouTube is undeniable. Some of the platform’s most popular creators are millionaires.
It’s also one of the most desirable jobs in the world, so of course you want to believe gurus who say they have the key to YouTube success.
Indeed, many influencers like Gareth Lamb do have good tips to share about growing a channel.
But that might not be enough to ensure you make a living on YouTube.
Growing a YouTube channel from scratch is hard. It typically takes several months to even get monetized, let alone generate a full-time income.
Channel Profits could shorten your learning curve, but you’ll most likely still spend years creating videos for peanuts.
If you’re willing to embrace the starving artist lifestyle, go ahead.
I’m sure most of my readers would prefer a business model that generates big money within weeks, not years.
That’s why I’d rather recommend Digital Leasing, which involves creating digital assets and renting them out to local business owners.
These assets generate online leads and can typically be rented out for $500 – $2,000 per month, depending on the niche.
Once you’ve created your first one, it’s a simple copy-paste process to make another and scale up your income.
You can learn more about this simple business model by watching this short video.
Who Would Benefit From Channel Profits And Who Wouldn’t?
I’d recommend you give Channel Profits a shot if you’re determined to improve your channel, no matter how long it takes.
But if you’re keen to make money online quickly, I wouldn’t recommend YouTube as a reliable source of riches.
There are better online business models that can work for any type of person. Here’s my #1 recommendation.

Business Model
Channel Profits teaches you how to improve your earnings on YouTube.
The main way to do that is to join the YouTube Partner Program so you can show ads during your videos and get paid every time that happens.
Title | Subscribers | Watch Hours |
---|---|---|
To get monetized with long-form content | 1,000 | 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months |
To get monetized with YouTube Shorts | 1,000 | 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days |
The more people watch your videos, the more money you’ll make. The average pay rate is $4.18 per 1,000 views, according to Finance Quick Fix.
Most of the Channel Profits course is about how to make better videos that more people will watch.
However, it also covers other monetization methods such as affiliate marketing or channel sponsorships.
Area | Score | Description |
---|---|---|
Time Investment | 1/5 | It takes a lot of time to grow a YouTube channel even if you take the ‘automated’ route |
Level of Control | 4/5 | You can control what you publish, although certain topics are more likely to perform well. |
Ease of Implementation | 2/5 | It’s easy to make low-quality videos, but difficult to compete with the production values of the top YouTubers. |
Profit Potential | 4/5 | The top YouTubers are millionaires, but it’ll take years to reach that level (if you ever get there) |
Gareth Lamb Review: Who Is This YouTube Guru?
Gareth Lamb is the face of the Channel Profits YouTube channel. This channel delivers all types of YouTube channel hacks, but it only has around 17,900 subscribers at the time of this review.
Gareth says he’s launched a faceless YouTube channel or two in the past, although there’s no information available about these.
He’s a legitimate YouTube automation expert and has previously launched an online course about this. However, he’s currently focused on promoting the ‘One Video Away’ course.
How Much Does Channel Profits Cost?
Channel Profits is available for a one-off payment of $147. Its website suggests that this is a 50% discount during the course’s launch period, but this pricing strategy is used by most online gurus to attract more panic buys.
Refund Policy
You can get a full refund on Channel Profits if you decide it’s not right for you within two weeks of purchasing it. Write an email to the support team within those 14 days and they’ll send your money back.
Channel Profits Course Review: My Personal Opinion
I’m sure most YouTubers would grow their channels faster if they consume the Channel Profits course.
But I’m not convinced that it’s enough to 10x their existing income.
As good as this course is, you’ll still need a lot of skill and a lot of luck outside of this course to make big money on YouTube.
There are no customer reviews outside of the Channel Profits website that suggest otherwise.
I’ve got two more course reviews for you:
- Grow Channels review: Razvan’s course offers solid mentoring with both free and premium community options, ensuring strong support for your growth in channel development.
- Cashflow Channels review: Ryan Hildreth’s course dives deep into YouTube automation strategies, covering niche selection, channel replication, team building, and more for maximizing earnings.
Is Channel Profits A Scam?
No, this isn’t a scam.
Gareth Lamb delivers useful advice in this course (although I’m not sure where he got that ’10x your views in 90 days’ figure).
The problem for aspiring YouTubers is the huge levels of competition for attention on this platform.
In most cases, you’ll be competing with charismatic individuals, seasoned professionals or high-budget productions.
To compete successfully, you’ll likely need:
- an exciting personality
- great stories or information to share
- a script that grabs and keeps people’s attention
- top-notch editing and thumbnails
- a solid understanding of the YouTube algorithm
Channel Profits will help you with some of this. If you’re lacking camera presence, it includes useful information on creating faceless YouTube channels.
But all of this will only put you on a level playing field with the competition, assuming the algorithm smiles upon you.
From there, it’s a long road of creating videos and building your audience while your ad revenue slowly creeps up.
If you’re looking to replace your 9-5 quickly, there’s an easier way.
With Digital Leasing, you can build your first lead-generating digital asset within weeks.
These assets tend to generate $10,000s worth of leads, so it’s not difficult to rent them out for $500 – $2,000 per month.
There’s barely any maintenance or customer service involved once you do.
From there, scaling with another digital asset is as simple as a few clicks and maybe a quick phone call.
It’s not as glamorous as YouTube, but it’s far more reliable and passive. Perhaps you can launch your YouTube channel as a hobby once you’ve built your small army of income-generating digital assets.
This short video explains more about how Digital Leasing works.

What’s The Conclusion?
This is a perfectly adequate YouTube course, but let’s not pretend its advice is all you need to succeed.
To make big money on YouTube, you’ll need to make great videos consistently over a long time period.
On top of that, you need to cross your fingers and hope your channel is blessed by the YouTube algorithm.
If you’re looking for a reliable source of online income, YouTube ain’t it.
That’s why it’s difficult for me to recommend this course.
Top Alternative / #1 Way To Make Money
After exploring various business models, I recommend Digital Leasing for beginners entering the online business world.
- Flexibility: You can run Digital Leasing as a side-hustle or your full-time project. Either way, this path could lead you to a sweet passive income. Picture making more dough without the relentless grind that YouTube demands.
- You’re the Boss: In the world of Digital Leasing, you’re essentially the landlord of your digital estate. You call the shots and can pocket 90-95% of the profits. Better yet, you don’t have to worry about praying to the gods of the mysterious YouTube algorithm. Success is in your own hands.
- Minimal Overheads: Running your digital assets comes with barely any upkeep costs. It’s all about keeping it low-key on the expenses front. It’s tough to run a successful YouTube channel that way, as you’re often competing against expensive productions.
- Rinse and Repeat: Got one digital asset up and running? You can clone that success with just a few clicks. It’s a breeze to scale up your income. Meanwhile, scaling your YouTube business involves a fair amount of hoping the algorithm will bless your video.
- Make a Real Impact: With Digital Leasing, you have the chance to genuinely help local businesses and see the tangible effects of your work. It’s not just playing the numbers game; it’s about making a real difference, something that’s not possible in all YouTube niches.
So, the choice is yours. Keep exploring, keep researching, or join a community of over 2,000 successful students living life on their terms with Digital Leasing.
Experience a steady, semi-passive income stream that doesn’t demand constant attention.
Your success goes beyond numbers – it’s about assisting real people who appreciate and happily pay for your services.
